Blade Pact is an active Outlander skill in Torchlight II. It belongs to the Sigil tree and it is available at level 1.
Description[]
You invoke an ancient curse that slows your foes and undermines their defenses. The Blade Pact lasts for seven seconds, and any enemy passing through the pact's area suffers the effects for the listed duration.
- Cooldown: 1 second
- Attack Speed reduced by X% for 3 seconds
- Movement Speed reduced by Y% for 3 seconds
- -Z% to Physical Armor for 3 seconds

Notes[]
Blade Pact's armor reduction only decreases physical armor, which can decrease its effectiveness for characters that specialize in elemental damage.
- This means that weapons that don't deal much physical damage or skills that only deal elemental damage (such as Glaive Throw and Cursed Daggers) will not benefit as much from this skill.
- Be sure to use skills which deal physical damage, such as Rapid Fire, Shadowshot, and Shattering Glaive.
Strategy[]
Because the cooldown for Blade Pact is only 1 second, it can be placed in multiple places at once. This allows Outlanders to control enemies coming from a variety of directions or placing pacts one after another to keep enemies under its effects for longer.
