This is a collaborative walkthrough for Torchlight II, listing the main story quests. Please add any missing information to any section and/or correct any errors that you find.

Act I: Wake of the AlchemistEdit

Welcome to Torchlight II!Edit

Starts at: Echo Pass
Objective: Speak to the Destroyer.

Warn the EstheriansEdit

Starts at: The Destroyer, Echo Pass
Objective: Travel to the Estherian Enclave and speak to the Grand Regent.

Simply travel through Echo Pass to get to town.

Protect the Guardian!Edit

Starts at: Grand Regent, Estherian Enclave
Objective: Discover the Wellspring Temple in the Temple Steppes and find Commander Vale.

Travel through the Path of the Honored Dead to the Temple Steppes area. Search for the Wellspring Approach, where you will find the entrance to the Wellspring Temple. Simply go through the first 2 floors of the temple. The entrance to General Grell will be glowing red and will say General Grell. Make sure to have some potions and good weapons. After Grell is defeated, speak to Vale.

The Guardian's TaleEdit

Starts at: Commander Vale, Water Guardian Palace (Wellspring Temple level 3)
Objective: Speak to the Guardian of Water.

Regroup at the EnclaveEdit

Starts at: Guardian of Water, Water Guardian Palace
Objective: Return to the Estherian Enclave and speak with Vale again.

Trail of the Grand RegentEdit

Starts at: Commander Vale, Estherian Enclave
Objective: Seek the Grand Regent in Frosted Hills.

Travel north from town through Crows' Pass. Speak to Elder Valin at the end of the pass.

The Ember KeysEdit

Starts at: Elder Valin, Crows' Pass
Objective: Obtain the Passkey Ember from the Slavers' Stockade and the Latchkey Ember from Emberscratch Mines. Use them to open the Watchweald Portal.

Mission of MercyEdit

Starts at: The Watchweald Portal, Frosted Hills
Objective: Enter the Watchweald Temple and stop the Grand Regent.

Progress through the Watchweald Temple and fight the Grand Regent. Speak to the Guardian of the Wild.

Return to the EnclaveEdit

Starts at: Guardian of the Wild, Watchweald Temple
Objective: Return to the Enclave and once more speak with Commander Vale.

Onward to Zeryphesh!Edit

Starts at: Commander Vale, Estherian Enclave
Objective: Speak to the Imperial Railmaster and travel to Zeryphesh, Act II. Once there, speak to the Guardian of Air.

Act II: The Eve of WarEdit

The Eve of War Edit

Starts at: Guardian of Air, Zeryphesh
Objective: Search the Ossean Wastes for the Guardian of Mana.

Lair of the Manticore Edit

Starts at: Sphinx, Ossean Wastes Forsaken Gate
Objective: Defeat the Manticore in the Stygian Aerie.

Artifice of Evil Edit

Starts at: Sphinx, Ossean Wastes Forsaken Gate
Objective: Search the Ossean Wastes for the entrance to the Forsaken Vaults, where the Guardian of Mana was taken, and defeat the forces that captured her.

Meet the Djinni Edit

Starts at: Guardian of Air, Zeryphesh
Objective: Locate the djinni Fazeer Shah in the The Salt Barrens.

The Djinni's First Task Edit

Starts at: Fazeer Shah, The Salt Barrens
Objective: Go to the Sadwa Mesa in the Salt Barrens and recover the Lamp of Wonders.

The Djinni's Next Task Edit

Starts at: Fazeer Shah, The Salt Barrens
Objective: Survive against the hordes of enemies until you find a way to return to Fazeer Shah.

The Djinni's Final Task Edit

Starts at: Fazeer Shah, The Salt Barrens
Objective: Defeat Ezrek Khan in Jehannum, and retrieve the Lamp of Marvels.

Breaking the Siege Edit

Starts at: Guardian of Air, Zeryphesh
Objective: Travel through the Witherways, in the Salt Barrens, to the Ezrohir stronghold of Riftkeep, and free the Guardian of Mana from Ezrohir control.

Talk to Railmaster Edit

Starts at: Guardian of Air, Zeryphesh
Objective: Report in at the Imperial Camp, in Grunnheim

Act III: After the AlchemistEdit

Alchemist's Rage Edit

Starts at: Imperial Camp (upon arriving in Act III)
Obejctive: Seek out Professor Stoker to discover the fate of the camp and learn about the Clockwork Core

Some Assembly Required Edit

Starts at: Professor Stoker, Imperial Camp
Objective: Search the Scrapworks for a Power Source, and bring it back to Professor Stoker in the Imperial Camp.

The Cave-In (Sub quest of Some Assembly Required) Edit

Starts at: Vanquisher Captain
Objective: Find the dynamite in the Abandoned Sawmill located in the Blightbogs

The Sundered Battlefield Edit

Starts at: Professor Stoker, Imperial Camp
Objective: Journey to the Sundered Battlefield via Rivenskull Gorge, enter the Emberworks and recharge the Power Source

Enter the Emberworks (Sub quest of The Sundered Battlefield) Edit

Starts at: Robot Eye, Sundered Battlefield
Objective: Retrieve the Crown from the Forgotten Halls

Pass Through The Gate Edit

Starts at: Professor Stoker, Imperial Camp
Objective: Enter the Broken Mines

Into the Dark Edit

Starts at: Guardian of Mana, The Minehead
Objective: Enter the Broken Mines and locate the Alchemist

The Heart of the World Edit

Starts at: The Broken Mines - Floor 4
Objective: Defeat the Netherlord
